Managing Comments Added During Test Execution

Get the test cases filtered and arranged on basis of comments, and see latest comments on grid

Updated this week

Testers and other team members often leave their comments while executing or reviewing the test cases. For a test plan, you can see the number of comments that have been added for a test case.

Sort and filter on count

The test cases data can also be arranged and filtered on the basis of Comments (count) column.

See latest comments

You can also see the latest comment added when you hover over the comments' count.

Editing or Deleting Comments from Previous RUNs

TestCollab allows editing (or deleting) comments added in earlier RUNs of a test case within a test plan. A project administrator has permission to edit any comment from previous RUNs. Limited rights users can edit/delete only the comments they have posted, and only when the project setting “Allow Editing Step Comments” is enabled by an administrator.

This provides flexibility to correct or refine information while maintaining appropriate permission control.

Export run comments

Along with other test case details, comments can also be exported in PDF/CSV format.
